General Questions
In Breezy Point, you can find the basics at Pelican Square convenience store. They carry the basics like bread, milk, snacks, some box and freezer meals. They also have common items that you may have forgotten to pack, like phone chargers and tooth brushes.
If you need something beyond that, the nearest full grocery store is SuperValu in Pequot Lakes.
If you still need more options, Baxter is 21 miles south of Breezy. Baxter has a Target, Walmart, Costco, Aldi, Cub Foods, and Super One.
For a full hospital, you’ll need to drive either 25 minutes to Essentia Health in Brainerd or 27 minutes to Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.
If it’s an emergency, of course call 911. Note that some of the police officers in Breezy Point are also trained as EMTs or paramedics.
If you only need a clinic, there’s conveniently one in Breezy Point: Cuyuna Regional Medical Center.
There’s also the Essentia Health St. Joseph’s-Pequot Lakes Clinic in nearby Pequot Lakes.

Breezy Point has its own airport, but it is a private airport.
Since most of us don’t own our own airplane, the closest public airport is Brainerd Regional Airport, which has daily flights to Minneapolis.
The closest international airport is Minneapolis-St Paul. There is a convenient shuttle service to get from the Brainerd area to the Minneapolis airport.
Yes! This is one of those things that makes Breezy Point special. You can drive a golf cart on public streets, but you do need to purchase a $20 permit through the city.
Breezy Point residents can use the public compost site, free of charge. The site is on Dakota Drive, at the end of Percheron Dr.
Note: To get to the disposal site, you drive through a quiet residential neighborhood. So please drive slowly and be considerate of your Breezy Point neighbors.
The compost site is only for tree branches, leaves, and yard clippings. To dispose of other items, visit the Crow Wing County Landfill.
The Pine River DMV is the closest. They offer a variety of services, including tab renewals, transfers, and license plates, driver’s license replacements, address changes, and notary services.
For driver’s licenses, you will need to visit the License Center in Brainerd.
Unfortunately, Breezy Point is too small for delivery services like Door Dash and Uber Eats. However several of the local pizza places will deliver to residents in Breezy Point.

Ace Hardware in Breezy Point sells a variety of live bait, as well as fishing licenses.
There are several lakes in Breezy that are open to the public: Pelican Lake, Ossawinnamakee Lake, Little Pelican Lake, Lougee Lake, and nearby Middle Cullen.
There’s also a public fishing dock.
